PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems, wherein there are many forms of seedling planter of vegetable transplantation in which the seedling planter is equipped with a seedling feeder connected endlessly to a large number of seedling cups that supply seedlings to a seedling planting beak and seedlings are supplied to the seedling planting beak, while an operator directly supplies seedlings to the seedling cups and conveys them; however, in the operation of such forms, the operation of feeding seedlings to the seedling cups is delayed and a missing plant action by the seedling planting beak is liable to occur; the travel of a vehicle body is stopped but the operation is troublesome; and smooth seedling planting operation is difficult to maintain. SOLUTION: In the seedling planter having the seedling feeder 3 connected to a large number of the seedling cups 2 to be conveyed and supplied to the seedling planting beak 1, a vehicle body speed is changed by the detection of the seedling storage condition for each seedling cup 2 by a seedling storage sensor.
