<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle that allows extension of the service life of a vehicle-driving battery. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle 100 is provided with a battery B, a motor MG2 supplied with power from the battery B, an engine 4 and a generator MG1 which is a power generation device for supplying power to the motor MG2 and the battery B, and a controller 30 that executes power running control and regenerative control of the motor MG2, charging/discharging control of the battery B, and control of the power generation device. The controller 30 stores a charging/discharging history of the battery B and determines the amount of power generated by the power generation device so that the distribution of a charging current and that of a discharging current are balanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
