P53 ISOFORM GENE(S) AND USES THEREOF

There is provided a method of treating and/or preventing cancer comprising reducing and/or inhibiting the expression and/or activity of at least one p53 isoform gene and/or transcript thereof in at least one cancer cell, wherein the isoform gene and/or transcript thereof modulates the expression and/or activity of p53. In particular, the p53 isoform gene is the ?133p53 and/or ?113p53 gene. There are also provided uses of the p53 isoform gene(s).
