ANTI-SUMINORI DISEASE BACTERIOPHAGE AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING SUMINORI DISEASE OF CULTURED LAVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-Suminori disease bacteriophage and to provide a method for preventing Suminori disease of cultured laver using the anti-Suminori disease bacteriophage. SOLUTION: An anti-Suminori disease bacteriophage liquid B is added and mixed with a treating liquid W in a treating bath 1 so as to be of the order of about 1×105to 1×108pfu. A seeded, frozen, and preserved net 10 for the laver culture frozen and preserved at about -20°C is directly dipped or thawed and then dipped in the treating liquid W in the treating bath 1.
