In manufacture of set of dentures, the plate is formed of a U-shaped piece of flexible material, pref. acrylic (co)polymer, the material being shaped in a horse-shoe shape to follow the line of the jaw. The bottom of trough of the plate has a number of inclinations to which the false teeth are fixed. The inside wall of the plate may be joined by a bridging portion fitting the roof of the mouth.
