PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, program and device for distortion correction and imaging apparatus in which distortion residual correction can be performed with small information missing and high correction accuracy. SOLUTION: A distortion correction method of the present invention includes: a recognition step (S3) of recognizing distortion of a photographic image designated by a user on the basis of attached information of the photographic image; an input step (S4) of causing the user to input the distortion to be made residual in the photographic image after distortion correction; and a correction step (S6) of calculating a correction expression of distortion correction to be applied to the photographic image on the basis of both the recognized distortion and the input distortion and applying the distortion correction to the photographic image in accordance with the correction expression.
