PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wavelength selection switches having small number of parts and a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The wavelength selection switches have: first lenses; diffraction gratings arranged at the opposite side of a plurality of light input/output ports interposing the first lenses; cylindrical concave lenses arranged at the opposite side of the diffraction gratings interposing the first lenses, which cylindrical concave lenses pass the light beams which are output from the light input/output ports, reflected on the diffraction gratings and pass through the first lenses, have a function as convex lenses in the arranged direction of the plurality of the light input/output ports, transform the converged luminous fluxes from the first lenses into parallel luminous flux, but do not have a function as lens in the direction orthogonal to the arranged direction of the plurality of the light input/output ports and converge the converged luminous fluxes from the first lenses; and a plurality of mirrors arranged on the opposite side of the first lenses interposing the cylindrical convex lenses.
