<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an equipment by using information relating to operation condition. <P>SOLUTION: This transmitter/receiver is installed at a location associated with an equipment 401, and provided with an IC tag 111 having an operation condition storage means for storing the operation condition of the equipment 401 and a transmission means for transmitting the whole part or a portion of the storage content of an operation condition storage means when receiving an object identification symbol for identifying itself.
