PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration caused by a change in spring constant of a damper disposed between a lock-up clutch and an output shaft. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including a step (S120) of determining whether or not the present engine speed NE is within such a range of an engine speed NE as to reduce output torque when the lock-up clutch is in an engaged state (YES in S110), and a step (S130) of reducing the output torque of the engine as compared with a case where the lock-up clutch is in a disengaged state when the present engine speed NE is within the range of the engine speed NE that reduces the output torque (YES in S120).
