PURPOSE: A novel paenibacillus polymyxa NB1 with anti-bacterial activity and a composition containing the same are provided to prevent plant diseases caused by plant pathogen. CONSTITUTION: A plant pathogen antagonic Paenibacillus polymyxa NB1 has deposit number KFCC 11413P. The plant pathogen is selected from Colletotrichum acutatum, Pythum ultimum, Phytopthora capcisi, Rhizoctonia solani AG4, Botrytis cineriea, and Fusarium oxysporum.
