PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling downlink control information in a wireless communication system are provided to enable a receiving terminal to process the received information of the PDCCH by classifying the DCI format of the received PDCCH. CONSTITUTION: A payload controller(501) determines the payload size of DCI format and the DCI(Downlink Control Information) format 0/1A of a PDCCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel). If the DCI format 2 has an ambiguous size, the payload controller determines the payload size by inserting a padding bit until the DCI format 1 does not have an ambiguous size and the same size as the DCI format 1/1A payload size. A payload generator(505) generates the control information of the PDCCH according to the determined payload size, and A PDCCH transmitter transmits the control information through the PDCCH. |
