PURPOSE: A handover determination method using a mobile terminal for selecting wireless network is provided to optimize power consumption of the mobile terminal by selecting wireless network. CONSTITUTION: A power control unit refers to the first estimated power through a power table of the network(S100). The power control unit compares the measured electric power of the power measurement unit(S104). In case the measured electric power is greater than the first evaluation electricity, the power control unit refers to the second evaluation electricity through the power table of the neighbor network(S106). In case the second evaluation electricity is greater than the measured electric power, the power control unit selects the self network.
