PURPOSE: An ultra wide band radar is provided to improve stability and has easy embodiment by digitalizing a process of generating a necessary delay signal when generating a target signal from a random digital signal and measuring a distance from the target in correction. CONSTITUTION: An ultra-wideband radar includes a transmission unit and a receiver. In a digital signal generator(210), the transmission unit generates a random signal and outputs it to the outside or the receiver. A signal delay part receives the random digital signal outputted from the receiver and, it delays and outputs it. A voltage controlled oscillator converts the delayed random digital signal into an analog signal. A target detection signal is reflected from the target to be detected, and the delayed random digital signal is mixed and outputted.
