PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for informing fare in a toll road are provided to supply toll information by storing it in the device even when GPS signal is not received in driving. CONSTITUTION: A payment guide method about the toll road and apparatus is comprised of the steps: detecting a position of a tollgate(S210); determining whether a toll gage is designed for issuing or calculating fare; determining whether entering another route is an entry IC or not in driving a toll road; and calculating the fare from a issuing toll gate to an IC calculating gate(S240). |
