The assembling unit has a receptacle (2) provided for a medical display device, which is assembled in a building-partitioning element. A protective device i.e. protective roller blind, is provided for the display device. An opening (4) is provided within the assembling unit, and is arranged behind an upper surface of the building-partitioning element. The opening extends over the dimensions e.g. thickness, of the assembling unit in the upper surface of the building partitioning element.
