PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a status of a copy limitation to the user by appropriately managing en block the information related to the copy limitation as to each of contents with stored copy limitation. SOLUTION: The content storage device includes: a content storage unit 11 for storing a master content to which the content handling information including a copy limitation condition is added; content information management units 12, 13 for acquiring the content information regarding the copy limitation condition from the content handling information being added to the stored content at the storage of the master content, and individually managing the content information; a content information offering unit 14 for reading and offering the management information in answer to a request; and a copy limitation processing unit 16 for determining the copy limitation condition from the management information of the content information management unit at the time requesting the copy of master content, and instructing the execution of a copy process only when the condition is satisfied, and the copy limitation condition is updated according to the instruction to execute the copy process.
