PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of a clearance between unit plate bodies (at an overlap part of a tongue and a groove) due to the occurrence of a discrepancy at the overlap part formed by tongue and groove machining due to a secular change (expansion/contraction) of a continuous wide plate body formed by connecting a plurality of unit plate bodies. SOLUTION: This interior-exterior finishing material is formed by forming a tongue at one side face and a groove at the other side face of an elongated rectangular unit plate body A having a bottom face 1 and a surface 2 parallel to each other to form a base body, and combining the tongues and grooves of a plurality of unit plate bodies A, A' in sequence to form the wide plate body. A projecting part is provided at one of the tongue and groove of the fitting faces of the tongue and groove suitable for each other of the interior-exterior finishing material, and a recessed part engaged with the projecting part is provided at the other to substantially integrate the adjacent unit plate bodies A, A'.
