PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head and a recording device which provides the quality improvement of an output picture corresponding to the change over time of discharge characteristics of a head. SOLUTION: The recording head is such a type that it ejects ink from the outlet port by making the thermal energy of an electric thermal energy conversion object interact on an ink. The recording head is composed of: a temperature detecting element formed with a thin film resistor; and a detection circuit for detecting information by connecting the circuit to each temperature detecting element between the electric thermal energy conversion object and an cavitation resistant diaphragm for suppressing the impact of cavitation generated at the time of defoaming the bubbles in the ink, The recording head measures the heat-transfer characteristic of each nozzle by measuring the temperature for every nozzle, and makes control so that a drive signal matched with the heat-transfer characteristic of each nozzle is applied so as to make the amount of ink discharged fixed.
