<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proximity sensor system which enables communication of a controller-side wireless portion and a sensor-side wireless portion achieving simultaneously the assurance of safety and the reduction of consumption current. <P>SOLUTION: A proximity sensor system 1 transmits a proximity sensor detection start signal from a controller-side wireless portion 5 to a sensor-side wireless portion 25. Preferably, the sensor-side wireless portion 25 has, as power supply control modes, a normal mode in which power is supplied to perform normal transmission and a sleep mode in which power supply is restricted, and stays in the sleep mode except a time period of start by the start signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
