DEVELOPING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can effectively suppress nonuniform image density while allowing bend of a developing roller, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The developing device 10 includes: the developing roller 12 for supplying developer to an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor 2; and a supply roller 13 that brings the developing roller 12 into press-contact with the photoreceptor 2. The developing roller 12 has: a core bar 31 having cylindrical outer shape; and a resin layer 32 formed on the outer circumferential face of the core bar 31. The resin layer 32 is formed in such a manner that the middle part is thinner than both end parts in the lengthwise direction of the core bar 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
