An air conditioning unit includes a condenser that is supported by a base pan and a condenser shroud that is positioned between the condenser and an evaporator. In one example, the condenser shroud includes an extension feature that prevents condensate water that is collected in the base pan from being splashed out of the air conditioning unit. In one example, a condenser cover is attached to the condenser with a snap-fit attachment. In one example, the condenser shroud and base pan include embossment portions to maximize a fan diameter for the air conditioning unit.
