PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus with a projector, having a simple structure, miniaturizable and securing the brightness necessary for both endoscopic observation and image projection by effectively using illumination light. SOLUTION: A processor 20 of the endoscope apparatus 60 has a single light source 24. The illumination light L emitted from the light source 24, passing through a rotary mirror 30, advances along a first light path P1. The illumination light L is transmitted to a light guide 26 to be fed to a scope 10. The reflected light R of the illumination light L is received by a CCD 12 and an image signal is generated. On the other hand, the illumination light L reflected by the rotary mirror 30 enters a projector unit 40 used for projecting a subject image. By changing the light path of the illumination light L from the single light source 24 in this way, the imaging and image projection can be simultaneously performed by effectively using the illumination light while simplifying the structure of the endoscope apparatus 60.
