PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup that allows an optical detector to be correctly bonded and fixed to a predetermined position of a housing of the optical pickup. SOLUTION: The optical pickup 1 includes a light source radiating laser light, an objective lens condensing the laser light emitted from the light source on a recording surface of an optical disk, an optical detector receiving reflection light reflected by the recording surface and the housing supporting them. When a flexible substrate F with the optical detector 9 mounted thereon is bonded and fixed while being curved at a predetermined angle, a restoration suppressing part 24 suppressing restoration of the curved flexible substrate F is provided at the housing 22.
