PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight disk rotor for brake, which is excellent in heat resistance and wear resistance at high temperature and further excellent in economical efficiency. SOLUTION: The disk rotor for brake includes a coating film of mixed powder of WC-Co cermet powder and Fe-C powder by high-speed flame spraying on the surface of a rotor formed of aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy, and the Vickers hardness of the film is 150 or more and 750 or less. Preferably, the mixing volume ratio (WC-Co/Fe-C) of the mixed powder of WC-Co cermet powder and Fe-C powder is 0.05 to 7.50, and the film thickness of the coating layer of the mixed powder is 40-520μm.
