METHOD FOR PRODUCING WIRE HARNESS, AND THE WIRE HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a wire harness whose sealing part has high airtightness and excellent waterproofness.

SOLUTION: The wire harness includes: an exposed bundle part 7 where a plurality of insulated electric wires each constituted of a conductor and an insulating layer covering the surface of the conductor such that a part of the conductor is exposed are bundled and where the respective exposed conductors are bundled and connected; a covered bundle part 8 where the covered conductors of the respective insulated electric wires are bundled; and the sealing part 3 confining the exposed bundle part 7 and an end part of the covered bundle part 8. The method for producing the wire harness includes: an inner layer-forming step of imparting a first composition liquid comprising at least a photoinitiator, a thermo-radical polymerization initiator, and a polymerizable compound to the exposed bundle part and the end part of the covered bundle part to form an inner layer 31; an outer layer-forming step of imparting a second composition liquid comprising at least a photoinitiator, a redox catalyst, and a polymerizable compound onto the inner layer 31 to form an outer layer 32; and a light irradiation step of emitting light onto the sealing part 3 constituted of the inner layer 31 and the outer layer 32, and photocuring the sealing part.
