PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass strength testing machine with a good workability, easily adjusting the energizing force of an energizing member for hammering a glass in a simple structure, or replacing the member. SOLUTION: An energizing device 7 is constituted of: a body 7a with an energizing member 7c; and a coupling member 7b with one end thereof connected to the other end of the hammer 4 and the other end connected to an energizing member 7c. The energizing device 7 is replaceably provided on a stand 2 and a plural types of energizing devices 7 with different energizing forces is replaced easily. Thus, the replacement enables easy changing of an impact force of the hammer 4. The coupling member 7b contains an energizing force adjusting mechanism for adjusting the energizing force 7c by adjusting a total length L. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
