<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device configured to surely peel off developer not served for developing from the surface of a developing roller, and obtain a good image coping with high-speed image formation, and to provide an image forming apparatus including the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 14 includes: the developing roller 27 configured to supply the toner to a developing area D opposed to a photoreceptor 11, and incorporate a fixed magnet body 25 having a plurality of magnetic poles in a peripheral direction; and a magnetic field generating member 50 configured to peel off the toner on the developing roller 27, on the downstream side of the developing area D in the rotating direction of the developing roller. The magnetic field generating member 50 includes: a magnet 51 disposed in the nearly normal direction of the developing roller 27, and having an opposed magnetic pole 51a opposed to the surface of the developing roller 27; and a magnetic body 52 disposed opposite to the surface of the developing roller 27, and disposed facing the magnet 51, on the upstream side of the magnet 51 in the rotating direction of the developing roller. The opposed magnetic pole 51a of the magnet 51 has the same polarity as that of the magnetic pole N1 of the fixed magnet body 25 disposed opposite to the magnet 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
