COASTAL SAND-DUNE ECOLOGY RESTORING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: An ecological restoration structure for a coastal dune is provided to form a natural ecological structure by considering each geographical feature of a land dune portion, an incline portion, a sweater portion and a waterfront boundary portion. CONSTITUTION: An ecological restoration structure for a coastal dune(100) comprises: a submerged breakwater(110) installed to the end of the waterfront boundary portion to prevent the outflow of sand; a jetty(120) arranged to be spaced out from the submerged breakwater to stabilize waves flowing over the submerged breakwater; a sand collector(130) installed between the end of seawater and an incline portion to increase the accumulation of sand and to prevent the loss of sand at high tide; a coir roll(140) installed on an inclined area toward land from the sand collector to promote the growth of plants; and a vegetation mat(150) installed toward land to be adjacent to the coir roll and planted with plants on the surface.
