FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: emergency shutdown system has an emergency valve, a control line over which a signal giving positioning of the emergency valve is transmitted, a solenoid valve unit connected to the control line for positioning the emergency valve, and an interfacing loop connected to the control line and the solenoid valve unit.
