<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector device which, in a condition where the need for soldering work and special structure members is eliminated, positions and holds a plurality of solar cells in a state suitable for miniaturization and reduction in thickness, and connects the solar cells in series or in parallel to each other. <P>SOLUTION: According to the socket connector device, an insulating housing 22 includes a plurality of cell housing units 23, each of which houses a solar cell and has cell slip-off preventing portions 30 and 31 that regulate the position of the housed solar cell to prevent it form slipping off the cell housing unit 23, and first and second conductive contacts 26 and 27 that are attached to be in contact with the negative electrode and the positive electrode of the solar cell, respectively. A conductive connecting member, which connects the first conductive contact 26 attached to one of the plurality of cell housing units 23 to the second conductive contact 27 attached to another of the cell housing units 23, is embedded in the insulating housing 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
