<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer from accumulating in a specific area in a developing device, by more effectively preventing floating toner from the inside of the casing of the developing device from leaking out to the outside, as compared with the conventional developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The casing 21 of the developing device 20 incorporates a developing roller 42 and a blade 43 for regulating the quantity of the developer carried by the developing roller 42. The casing 21 has an air introducing portion 50 opposed to the developing roller 42 at a position below the developing roller 42. The air introducing portion 50 is provided with air inflow holes (i.e., an air inlet 518, a long opening 515c, a long hole 523, and an angular hole 524) for taking in air from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
