<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming system configured to execute image quality adjustment at an appropriate timing, and also, secure image quality. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether or not an adjustment execution condition is established during a print job, and when determining the establishment of the condition, such adjustment-priority processing is executable that the image quality adjustment is executed before starting the execution of the print job, or before starting the first color page printing operation included in the print job.
