摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive-charging single-layer electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and free from an image memory phenomenon and to provide an image forming method using the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive support and a photosensitive layer formed on the conductive support, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a charge generating agent, a hole transporting agent, an electron transporting agent and a binder resin. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is characterized in that: an absolute value of sensitivity is not more than 150 V both in positive polarity and in negative polarity measured after exposure with a charge potential set to 800 V by an absolute value under the conditions of an exposure wavelength at 780 nm, exposure energy of 1.0μJ/cm<SP>2</SP>and exposure time of 500 msec; and the absolute value of sensitivity in positive polarity is larger than the absolute value of sensitivity in negative polarity.
