PURPOSE: An air compressor is provided to keep an airtight seal during the reciprocation of a piston body and to increase the backward motion of the piston body. CONSTITUTION: An air compressor comprises a body housing, a piston rod, and a piston head. The body housing comprises a pump base and a positioning plate(2) in which an actuator is fixed and one or more holes are formed. A pivot hole(510) is formed on one end of the piston rod. The piston head is extended from the other end of the piston rod. The pivot hole end of the piston rod is driven with the actuator. The piston head comprises the piston body which is accommodated to reciprocate up and down within the pump base. An air discharge face is formed at an angle on the upper end of the piston head.
