PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that can adjust white balance based on image data intended by a user. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imager; a display unit that can display an image captured by the imager and has a touch panel function for receiving an input from a user; white balance adjuster for adjusting white balance of an image captured by the imager; and a specifying unit for specifying an area having color information as same as color information of a position in which an input is received from the user, from the image displayed by the display unit.
