PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine gel particle-containing aqueous solution and a method of preparing the same wherein collective position control and movement of the fine gel particles are allowed and easy coagulative precipitation is prevented. SOLUTION: After fine gel particles are formed by gelating of polysaccharide by ion cross-linking, treatment with an aqueous solution containing anions precipitating cross-linking ions is carried out, and the fine gel particles are dispersed in the aqueous solution. The fine gel particles after the treatment includes water-containing layers varied in refraction index on the surface, and an absolute value of the surface potential is 10-100 mV.
