<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element having high photoelectric conversion efficiency and high durability; and to provide a solar battery and an optical sensor array each using the element. <P>SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion element has a transparent electrode, counter-electrodes, and a photoelectric conversion layer in which a p-type semiconductor material and an n-type semiconductor material are mixed.
