<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for purifying excreta or the like, which is used on a ship and achieves both of the amount of residual chlorine and the number of high-temperature resistant coliform bacteria within their reference values. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a sewage tank 14 for treating excreta or the like from a toilet in a ship, and an ultraviolet sterilizer 15. The sewage tank continuously includes, in order, a first catalytic oxidation material 26 on which aerobic microorganisms are provided in film form, a pretreatment chamber 16 having a second catalytic oxidation material 27 and an aeration means 30, a catalytic oxidation chamber 17 having a catalytic oxidation material 34 and an aeration means 35, a sedimentation chamber 18, and a treated liquid chamber 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
