PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering thickness measuring device which easily measuring the covering thickness. SOLUTION: The covering thickness measuring device 1A includes a post 2; a first link 6 with its upper end turnably mounted to the lower end of the post 2; an operating rod 4 axially movable relative to the post 2; a second link 8 with its lower end turnably mounted to the lower end of the operating rod 4; an abutting member 7 to which the lower end of the first link 6 and the upper end of the second link 8 are turnably mounted; and a display part 2a displaying a width from the post 2 to the abutting member 7 based on the displacement amount of the operating rod 4 relative to the post 2.
