PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the jam treatment property of a relay unit which is post-assembled in the in-body paper discharge space of an image forming device.SOLUTION: This relay unit 5 is post-assembled in the in-body space of the in-body paper discharge type image forming device, and includes a relay conveying path 50 for conveying sheets from the sheet discharge port of the device body to the sheet accepting port of a post-treatment device. The relay conveying path 50 is formed of a lower guide member 51 forming a lower guide surface and an upper guide member 52 which is rotatably attached to the lower guide member and which forms an upper guide surface. The relay unit 5 comprises a first side surface 5F and a second side surface 5B which face each other in the sheet conveying direction, and also comprises a recess formed by recessing part of the lower guide surface so as to extend from the first side surface 5F of the lower guide member 51 in the direction of the second side surface 5B. |
