PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the restriction on a cooked object due to the height of a container and improve the usability of a steamer.SOLUTION: The steamer 1 includes: a lower steam container 2, a lower steam plate 3 arranged above the bottom of the lower steam container 2 and having a plurality of steam passage holes; an upper steam container 4 piled up on the side wall of the lower steam container 2; an upper steam plate 5 provided inside the upper steam container 4 and having a plurality of steam passage holes; a lower lid 6 placed on the lower steam container 2; and an upper lid 7 placed on the upper steam container 4. The upper steam plate 5 is freely detachable and a plurality of projecting parts 10 supporting the peripheral part of the upper steam plate 5 are provided in the vicinity of the periphery of the lower opening 8 of the upper steam container 4 so as not to be necessary to support the upper steam container by the bottom of the upper steam container and thus the area where the bottom surface is conventionally provided is opened, and the cooked object is cooked being arranged in a wider area than the conventional one. |
