<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a tracking coil or a focus coil by directly winding round a wire rod to a lens coil holder in an optical pickup to be used on an optical disk drive. <P>SOLUTION: The tracking coil is formed by dividing the lens coil holder into three holders and mounting an objective lens on one holder and winding the wire rod by preparing a protrusion for winding at the side surface. On the remaining holders, the focus coil is wound round. Alternatively, the tracking coil is formed by dividing the lens coil holder into two holders and winding the wire rod by preparing the protrusion for winding at the side surface on one holder. At the remaining holder, the objective lens is mounted and the focus coil is wound round. In the lens coil holder, a cavity is prepared for making laser beam to pass which is generated parallel to the optical disk surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
