<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating usage rule information that describes limitation on usage of content received via a broadcast channel. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: a) receiving content and copy control information related to protection of the content via a broadcast channel; b1) creating usage rule information to allow only real-time reproduction and storing of the content as one-time usage thereof from among all operations that can be performed by a receiver apparatus for the content, when the copy control information indicates that the content is 'copy once'; b2) changing the usage rule information to allow only a storage play operation for playing the content stored in the receiver apparatus, a moving operation for moving the content played in real-time or stored in the receiver apparatus, a migrating operation, an exporting operation, and an editing operation after the real-time reproduction and the storing of the content is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
