CONTAINER FOR CONVEYING PLATE-LIKE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve excellent protection of a corner part of a plate-like body by preventing the corner part of the plate-like body from being brought into contact with a container body even when the corner part of the plate-like body is deformed in a flexible manner due to the vibration or the fall of a conveying container in which the plate-like bodies such as glass substrates are accommodated in a horizontally stacked manner.

SOLUTION: The conveying container includes a container body 1 opened upwardly and having a rectangular shape in plan view, and a lid body 3 attachable to the container body 1. A recess 17 for avoiding the abutting of a corner part b1 of a plate-like body B accommodated on a bottom part 14 is formed in each of four corner parts of the upper side 14a of the bottom part 14 of the container body 1. A bottom surface 17a of each recess 17 is inclined gradually downwardly from its inner edge toward its outer edge.
