<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that supplies required power even when an engine cannot start promptly. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle control device includes: a generator 2 connected to an engine 1; a first converter 6 connected to the generator 2; a first energy storage device 7 connected to the first converter 6; a first inverter 8 connected to the first energy storage device; a load 9 connected to the first inverter; a reactor 5 connected between the generator and the first converter; a second inverter 4 connected on a side opposite to the first converter; a second energy storage device 3 connected to the second inverter 4; a first current sensor 10 to be installed between the generator and the first converter; a second current sensor 11 to be installed between the first inverter and a motor; and a control unit connected to the first and second current sensors to issue instructions to charge or discharge the second energy storage device on the basis of an output state of the generator and that of the load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
