PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting device that can prevent gas from being discharged from a pixel defining layer or a planarization layer and a method for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: An organic light emitting display device comprises: a substrate; an element circuit arranged above the substrate; a pixel electrode electrically connected to the element circuit; a pixel defining layer exposing the pixel electrode; an intermediate layer arranged on the pixel electrode, the intermediate layer being configured to emit light; and a first ion injected layer formed on the pixel defining layer.
