<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic saving system that enables consumers to save money spontaneously in preparation for life after retirement and to keep on saving for long time without feeling the burden of saving. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic saving system consists of a system in which a customer and a credit card company or the like are linked to each other through a communication line such as an Internet line. In the system, the card company withdraws, from the customer's bank account, the amount of money for the payment made by the customer using the credit card adding the extra amount of money previously set by the customer through an information terminal such as a customer's personal computer.
