<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renovated door composed of an existing door frame and a new door, which allows a new door to be easily manufactured to the extent possible. <P>SOLUTION: A new door 2 is provided with an L-shaped step part 25 along an outer peripheral end of the indoor front face. An airtight material receiving part 26 having a U-shaped cross section is post-attached to the L-shaped step part 25 of the new door 2. The airtight material receiving part 26 is provided with an airtight material 27 which comes in contact with the outdoor front face positioned at the midpoint of a depth face of an existing door frame 1, so that the airtightness of a renovated door A is maintained between the existing door frame 1 and the new door 2. Consequently, door surface materials 23 and 24 may have arbitrary shapes, for example, to cover the L-shaped step part 25 with the door surface materials 23 and 24 or to expose the L-shaped step part 25, resulting in improved productivity of the surface materials 23 and 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
