A flask for transporting a bottle 5 containing radio-active liquid comprises a body 2 normally closed by a lid 6. Pivots 13, 14 on the body extend through slots 12 in the uprights 10, 11 of a carrying handle 8, these pivots having threaded ends co-operating with nuts 15, 16 whereby by tightening the nuts the handle may be clamped in the storage position, Fig. 1, or in the carrying position, Fig. 2. To permit access to the bottle by a syringe (Fig. 4, not shown) the handle bears a cap screw 17 which may be threaded into a tapped hole 18 in a plug 19 in the lid 6 when the handle is in the Fig. 1 position. Thus, when the handle is moved to the Fig. 2 position the plug 19 is withdrawn (Fig. 3, not shown).</p> |
