The image processing apparatus also has a selecting unit for, in a case where the image data stored in the storage unit is image data that has been shot using a bracket shooting function corresponding to the correction processing instruction, selecting the image data shot using the bracket shooting function corresponding to the correction processing instruction from the image data stored in the storage unit. And, the image processing apparatus also has a processing unit for, in a case where there is no image data in the storage unit that corresponds to the correction processing instruction, performing the correction processing on the image data input by the inputting unit.
